Rock Defense Toyota Front Bumper

HREW bumpers are strong, 1020 DOM bumpers are stronger, but Trail-Gear had to take things to the next level, now all of our bumpers are 1035 DOM material (1.75" X .120" wall).

1035 DOM tubing is more dent resistant than 1020 DOM, and it will not split down the seam as we have all seen the cheaper HREW tubing do. We can confidently say that our Rock Defense" bumpers are, by far, the strongest on the market.

Mounting holes on the winch plate are drilled for most 5000-9500 model low-profile winches and smaller sized 9.0R Warn competition winches. For larger winches some minor trimming of the grill may be required. Bumper also features a 2 inch receiver that will make a great anchor point for winch or strap recoveries.

Turn signal mounting tabs are not included. Unpainted steel finish. If using a winch with an integrated solenoid, such as the Warn 9500, trimming of the front plastic grill will be necessary. Will not work with roller type fairlead, requires hawse type fairlead. Not intended for use with a body lift.

Rear Bumper

This rear bumper is one of the first in the industry that is constructed out of 100% DOM tubing. It fits 1st generation, 1984-1989 4Runners. The 1.75" OD X .120" wall thick DOM tubing will give you all the protection your 4Runner needs while playing on the rocks.

The bumper is shipped unpainted and lightly oiled to prevent rusting during shipping.

Model 4 bumper for 90-95 4Runner will not work with factory swing a way tire carrier.

Optional Rear Bumper to Frame Support Kit for 84-89 4Runner

This product is for the hardcore rock crawlers that need a little extra support for their rear bumper. This support welds to the bumper and can be welded or bolted to the frame for easy removal of the bumper.

Note: Optional Rear Bumper to Frame Support Kit will not work with 84-88 Pickup bumper This product is shipped unpainted and lightly oiled to prevent rusting.

Aluminum Fairlead

Polished aluminum hawse fairlead. Designed for use with synthetic winch rope. Mounting holes are 10" on center for standard 3/8" bolts, compatible with most 5,000-9,500lb winches. Ultra smooth guide surface (rounded on both sides) to prevent damage to rope.

Front Bumper Winch Mount

If you're looking at building your own front bumper this mount makes a great starting point. This winch mount bolts on to the six factory holes found on 1984-1988 Pickups and 1984-1989 4Runners. 1984-1985 body style requires drilling two additional holes in plate. Made from 1/4" plate steel. Two inch receiver tubing is also included. Plate is pre drilled for 5000-9500 low profile winches. Also includes holes for 9.0R Warn competition winch. Designed for use with steel or aluminum hawse fairlead. When building bumper, additional mounting points from bumper to frame are required if used for heavy winching. If using a winch with an integrated solenoid, such as the Warn 9500, trimming of the front plastic grill will be necessary. Unpainted finish.
